Ben has been involved with music for fifteen years, engineering shows, booking shows,
and playing in bands (Currently Workout Music). Ben developed a keen ear for discovering new talent before he graduated from
Columbia College Chicago in 2007 with a degree in Audio Arts and Acoustics with a concentration in live sound engineering.
Since his graduation he has made his living working for audio visual companies, both large and small, as well as some theater groups.
Ben also mixes at various venues around Chicago such as the Elbo Room, Goose Island Wrigleville, and The Underground Lounge.
Because of his recent success with Workout Music, mixing various artists and networking, Ben has accumulated a large list of bands, promoters,
and talent buyers to accompany him in booking successful concerts. Ben is now scouting and promoting new music for Shoeshine Boy Productions.
He also provides graphic arts support for music and venues in Chicago and beyond.
